The timing of this Study coincided well with the 2014-2020 programming of international assistance, mainly through the Instrument for Pre-Accession (IPA), and the drafting of the new National Strategy for Career Guidance and Counselling and accompanying Action Plan which was to replace the expiring Strategy. It provided an overview and assessment of the situation in the field of career guidance and counselling and also offered models for a National Resource Centre for Guidance (NRCG).
